Plants VS Zombies Game Available On Android And WP7 Phone

The popular PopCap mobile game, Plants Vs Zombies game is finally coming to Android and windows phone 7 devices. It has been a huge success on the iOS platform, since the time of its launch.
The mobile game would be available for Android users starting May 31st via the Amazon Appstore. It is expected to be priced around $3 and will be available free for the first 24 hours of its launch. The game has exists for a very long time and we feel it has seen a drop in its popularity due to many other games which later launch on the iOS platform.
We hardly think it is much of exiting news for Android users as similar games have been present on the platform for quite some time and obviously PopCap delayed the launch by a very long time. The date for windows phone 7 launch is not yet confirmed.

Age Of Empires Online Game Beta Review

Microsoft is trying to reboot their free Age of Empires Series with a fresh new look and under an interesting new genre. Gas Powered Games are in charge of developing the new title in the series. Age of Empires Online. This new title for the series is a Free-To-Play game which is currently in Beta, Age of Empires returns to us as a MMORTS utilizing the windows games live platform for online matchmaking and play. The concept this time around is a persistent online world, which is always working even when you're not at your computer playing.

Taking place in an alternate Mediterranean, you are given your own empire in which you will be required to grow and expand in order to obtain great power over your enemies. Fans of the series will find similar gameplay to previous titles. If you have never played an RTS game before, or are still a beginner then this might be a great chance for you to jump in and learn. Like many RTS titles, AOE is one that is easy to learn, hard to master. Not so much as other titles like StarCraft, but there is a lot of complexity deep within the game available for the more competitive players.

In Age of Empires Online Game you participate in online battles against Computer Al or Human Opponents. You must build an army to overpower your opponents in real-time combat, while building a civilization from the ground up. With a wide selection of buildings and units, and many planned civilizations there is plenty on offer for both the casual and competitive gamers. The game starts by giving you a plot of land and a capitol city. It is pretty bare right now, but it won't be long before you have a busting city thriving with business and making you lots of coin. The main objective in this game is to become abundant in resources, and pocket heavy in gold coins. To earn gold coins, you need to complete Quests. This is the PvE side of the game.

Questing
Questing in Age of Empires Online games is essentially a match against Al. You must complete certain objectives, sometimes within a time-frame in order to receive XP. Gold and other rewards. An example of these quests can be protecting a building from incoming waves of attackers, or hunting down and killing a chieftain of an enemy village. The more quests you complete, the more you level up, the bigger your capitol will become and your advantage over your future opponents grows larger.

Around your Capitol are several prominent figures of your Empire. These people of importance are easily spotted as they will have a blue or yellow exclamation mark or question mark above their head. This is common place for symbolizing a quest, and anyone who has previously played an MMO title will be familiar with this concept.
  • Yellow Symbol = Quest
  • Blue Symbol = Repeatable Quest
  • ! = New Quest Available
  • ? = Quest complete, talk to the NPC to claim your reward
Quests remain rather varied in objectives and it is obvious to see their potential as great tools for fine tuning different skills required to play competitively later on in the game. While given your generic defend location for x amount of minutes or kill this enemy style quests, there are also a lot of quests based around teaching you certain skills.

OnLive Adds Better Games Like Borderlands To Its All-You-Can-Eat PlayBack Game Library

Free windows game downloads was published Onlive to offer cloud based gaming on Octobar, today we will share about Borderlands game.

OnLive, the online games on demand service, is announcing today it has added Borderlands to it's-all-you-can-eat subscription service known as PlayPack. The PlayPack library is very similar to Netflix subscriptions. In this case, you can access a bunch of games for a flat fee of $9.99 a month.

And with the addition of Take-Two Interactive's Borderlands, the games in the library are getting better and better, said Steve Perlman, chief executive of OnLive in Palo Alto, California.  There are now more than 50 games available in the PlayPack library. That's far less than Netflix, but its growth shows that game publishers have growing confidence that OnLive is becoming a better and better game distribution channel, just like Netflix proved itself as a viable movie distribution system, Perlman said.

Borderlands (from Take-Two's debuted in October 2009 and it won numerous awards as one of the best original titles of the year. Gamers are still playing the game (it ranks pretty high on Valve's Steam online game service) because it has a rich multiplayer version. Other popular titles offered in OnLive's PlayPack are prince of Persia, Tomb Raider Legend, Lego Batman and Just Cause 2. Perlman says the games on PlayPack essentially cost 20 cents per month to play.

These games are all pretty popular as used games and were best sellers when they first came out. But publishers are releasing them for use with OnLive because-unlike the used games sold in stores such as GameStop- the game publishers can make money from OnLive's PlayPack library. More high-profile games will arrive on PlayPack in coming weeks, Perlman said.

Another new feature is debuting on OnLive today, In the past, you had to enter your credit card number to demo free versions of the games in PlayPack. Now you don't have to do that. Players who don't want to pay a subscription fee for a library of older games can also pay a la carte, either renting or buying games one by one.

And players can also buy brand new games on the very day they come out in stores. Onlive is starting to promote some deals very aggressively. For instance, you can buy Duke Nukem Forever at regular price on OnLive when it comes on June 13. OnLive will give away either a free game or a free MicroConsole ($99 value) with the purchase of the Duke Nukem forever game. That's a good deal.

Perlman said OnLive can afford to do that because it is subsidizing the costs as part of a promotion. The MicroConsole is a strategic device that OnLive wants to get into a bunch of living rooms (it connects a TV to OnLive so users can play Onlive games on a big screen TV). So Perlman said OnLive will offer temporary promotions to help the MicroConsole take off.

OnLive first launched its PlayPack in February. The company doesn't disclose results, but Perlman said the library is profitable and it will continue to grow bigger over time in terms of numbers of titles.

Perlman said that PlayPack strategy is aimed at vastly broadening the company's potential market of game customers. With a flat rate subscription. OnLive will pursue the same path that Netflix has successfully followed, attracting users who don't necessarily want to dish out a lot of money for one title but don't mind paying a monthly fee to sample a bunch of game. For premium new games, OnLive offers a la carte pricing, much like Apple's iTunes store does.

Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley Coming This Week

The first update to Rovio's Hollywood Angry Birds spin-off, Rio, will be landing this week. Beach Volley, which the name should make fairl obvious, takes place in the Sandy (and sunny) coast of Brazil and features brand new levels festooned with volleyballs, beach umbrellas and monkeys-lots and lots of monkeys.
Levels also contain varibus new structures such as helicopters and ships to blow up, and plenty of new hard-to-reach items that unlock bonus levels. It's not confirmed yet exactly how many levels in total will be included but we can expect no less than 15 to wreak havoc in.
Angry Birds Rio, in case you missed the memo, is the result of a collaboration between Rovio and 20th Century Fox which coincided with the release pf the Fox's animated flick Rio last month. While most movie tie-ins tend to be a little on the cheap side. Rovio did a pretty decent job at merging the two universes together and giving players a break from a perpetual slaughter of pigs.
Rovio's title has already turbed into a cultural phenomenon with celebrity endorsements and various toys and plushest already on the market. There's also a rumour of a TV show in the works, plus a Hollywood animation to give the birds their own spotlight on the silver screen.
