Pretty Pet Pony Launches On iPhone

Horse races, strategy, customization, cuteness overload all feature in the newest iOS game from the hit "Pretty Pet" Series.

Outblaze (www.outblaze.com) and Animoca (www.animoca.com) today announced the launch of pretty pet pony for Apple's iOS devices. The newest title in the chart-topping "pretty pet" series breaks new ground by introducing action-packed horse races and pony customization to the classic pet grooming gameplay for all ages. Pretty Pet Pony is available free of download charge on the App Store at itunes.

In Pretty Pet Pony, Players take control of a stable to groom colorful horses of nearly excessive cuteness. With ponies matching in every few moments, players will have to think fast in order to brush and wash coats, check horseshoes, and exercise the lovable animals - at the same time making sure that their own horse is healthy and at peak fitness for the next race.

Regular race events give players of Pretty Pet Pony a chance to ride their horse on different racetracks and against different opponents as they compete for a variety of prizes. Racing requires a quick eye and fast reflexes to strike a balance between speed and stamina, focus too much on bursts of speed, and your pony will tire quickly, but gallop too slowly and you'll end up finishing last in the race.

Players can customize their Pony and upgrade their stables by using in-game money as well as Pet Points. Connectivity options allow users to take snapshots of their unique pony designt and post them on the web, or find friends to compete against.

Pretty Pet Pony is free to download and play game. Optional in-game upgrades can be bought with Pet Points, which are purchased with real money. Pet Points can also be earned by using the Daily Bonus Lottery, for which players automatically receive tokens every day. Download Pretty Pet Pony now free of charge from Apple's App Store

Free 3DS Game, Zelda: Four Swords Gets a Release Date

At the massive gaming expo, E3 earlier this year; Nintendo announced their plants for the 25th Anniversary, which included everything, from a new Wii game, to a series of live concerts, celebrating the little adventurer with the green cap. The most interesting announcement of all, however, was the news that The legend of Zelda; Four Swords would be seeing a release on the DSiWare store - and best of all, it'd be free!

In the vein of classic Zelda games, the legend of Zelda; four swords anniversary addition is a top down adventure game, which lets you and up to three other friends explore the land of Hyrule together over a local wireless connection. Regardless of whether you're using a 3DS, a DSi, or DSiXL, you'll be able to play together with friends, no matter what consoles you're using, so long as they download the free game. With puzzles to solve, bosses that require you to work together, and an entire world to explore, there'd be plenty to be excited about here if this was a paid release - but Nintendo, being the saints that they are, are giving it us for free!

How To Make Money From A Free App

Developer Brian Robbins from Riptide Games gave a fascinating talk today about the apparent paradox of trying to make money off of a free app on Apple's App Store. Originally the App Store had only the two choices of a free apps or paid release. More recently, developers have a bevy of options for bringing in revenue even on free apps, including in-app ads, in-app purchases and premium models, or even using "lite" versions of games to promote the paid versions. Robbins walked through a general overview of the models available and filled in the blanks with a lot of actual, clear numbers from his own company and its release.
However, robbins also said that when Apple does sell ads, they are profitable. Last holiday season, Apple's ads were paying as much as $40 per CPM, and Robbins's set of ad-supported "ilook" apps take their biggest chunk of revenue from Apple's own service. The ilook apps have made over $53,000 for Robbins and his company so far, of which $26,000 came from iAds. Most of that came from a big Christmas boost last year. Robbins said the other networks paid less for games and a little more for non-game apps. iAds for Dove, for example, never showed up in his games, but he saw them all the time in his non-game photo apps.
Finally, Robbins talked about the freemium model, which he and his company have since moved to using in a big way. The first game Riptide released under this model was Gravity Slide (a game actually prototyped at a previous 360iDev game jam). since its release the app has pulled in 450,000 downloads, making up $14,000 in revenue from in-app purchases of level and content packs. The app has seen a 1 percent conversion rate (so 1 percent of people using the app have purchased something), but Robbins noted that among OpenFeint users specifically, that conversion rate more than doubled to 2.5 percent.

Brink To Offer a Free DLC In An Attempt To Improve On Its Initial Disappontment

Brink has, to date, been one of the boggest let-downs of console gaming in recent years. While not Duke Nuken Forever bad, the title promised so, so much, but delivered so, so little. We were promised gripping gameplay intelligent AI and, most importantly, a revolutionary movement system -S.M.A.R.T-that was going to change the face of first person shooters as we know them.
Unfortunately, both S.M.A.R.T and Brink were terrible disappointments. sure, the new system presented an interesting take on the heavily saturated FPS market, but it seemed that Splash Damange-the games developer-had spent too much time working on it therefore forgetting the other elements of the game. Just as an example, Brink featured one of the worst A.I of all time-characters seemed unable to perform even the simplest of tasks, or run to a pre-marked point so gamers were as well to play the gamealone.. not great for a game that encouraged team play.

180 Ultra: Free Amazon App

Image : goozernation.com
The premise of the game is simple to pick up but has the potential to really make players work for combos and matches thanks to the "flip" mechanic. Discs are moving down the screen in clumps of multiple colors and your job is to shoot your colored disc at them like colored clumps (a la Bust-a-Move). When three of a color are lined up vertically or horizontally they, and all adjoining same-colored chips, are removed. On top of that, each chip has an alternate color that it can be switched to by tapping on it.
There are 4 different modes: endless, score, attack, time attack, and drop attack, as well as four different characters: Star(redheaded female), Rex (beefed up guitar playing dude), Ozzie (alien), and Kane(tiki mask wearing guy).
Each character has a different background and character animation. If You are connected to Feint then there are 27 achievements to unlock in 180 for various things like recovering from near death or performing full clears. While it plays fairly simple and doesn't push the boundaries in gameplay, graphics, or storytelling this could easily become a game for killing time or alleviating boredom. So download 180 Ultra while it's free.

halfbrick-releases-a-free-version-of-fruit-ninja-onto-the-android-market

image: droidgames.com
Halfbrick's hit Android game, Fruit Ninja, now comes in a full version that requires you to spend absolutely nothing. That's right, Fruit Ninja is now free to download and play in all it's full version glory. This is great for anyone who hasn't played the game yet and have been wanting to try it out.
However, instead of a lite/demo version, the free one is a full version that is ad supported. This is similar to how Angry Birds by Rovio has done it except backwards. While Angry Birds came out free first, then launched it's ad-free paid version, Halfbrick launched the paid version first with this version landing on the market today. You get all the features you would find in the full paid version except you'll just have to deal with ads instead of paying for the game.
We also have a feeling that Halfbrick is migrating into the Freemium model and that this is the first step for that to happen with Fruit Ninja. They already have Freemium games in the works such as Machine Gun Jetpack which features in-game purchases. This could be what Halfbrick is hinting at with the changelog description:
  1. With the release of Fruit Ninja Free comes a host of new and exciting changes. Apart from being free Fruit Ninja now provides language support for over 14 languages!
  2. We have also not only crammed in more languages, but managed to improve performance across a range of devices.
  3. Stay tuned for heaps of new content (and a few surprises) coming real soon!

Only time will tell if we end up seeing Fruit Ninja getting an update that suddenly has in-game purchases available but don't be surprised if it happens sooner then you think.

How To Create Your Own 3D Games

Platinum Arts' Sandbox free 3D game maker has been available for a while now, but the developers at BreakfastVsDinner.com have just completed a free proof-of-concept game to show off the package's capabilities. Rose Child of the Storm is a first-person action RPG showing off the engine's ability to feature interactive NPCs, save games, triggers, experience systems and more. You can download from http://www.sandboxgamemaker.com/download-sandbox.html
Sandbox free 3d game maker's major selling point is its supposed ease of use-in the words of the developers, "the mission of sandbox is to make it easy as possible for kids and adults to make their own games and worlds. The idea is that if we make it easy enough for kids to use, hopefully it will be easy enough for adults as well".
The kid-friendly angle is an important one to Platinum Arts-the free and open source nature of the software means that it's adopted by many budget-conscious schools around the world, and the "in-game" style of editing is easier to grasp than the complexities of tech like Unreal Engine 3, Source or CryEngine.
If you are interested in making your own 3D games, then why not give the software a try? it is freely available for PC, Mac and Linux at : http://www.sandboxgamemaker.com/

Image from pc.gamespy.com
Indie game developer online warmongers wants to change your expectations for what a free-to-play game can offer, and it hopes to do so with its first game, War Inc. Battlezone.

Third-person tactical shooter War Inc, Battlezone is the studio's debut title, and it's been generating a healthy buzz since it launched in beta form in March.

"We're thrilled to secure partners who understand the online game market and match our vision", Online Warmongers CEO Sergey Titov said in a statement. "Once people play our game, their expectations for what free-to-play games can offer will change forever."

Fable 3 For Windows PC Reviews

Fable 3, an role-playing game, first appeared on Microsoft Xbox 360 console last year and this new PC version adds a challenge mode and updates visuals. The story is the same-with the player taking on the role of a young prince or princess who must overthrow their tyrannical brother then lead the kingdom of Albonian against a malevolent dark force. The main characters are the same your dog is the same, the quests are the same, and the game is still one of two district halves one: one dramatically more exciting than the other and one over almost before you know it.
Visually, the game looks slightly better than on the 360 but the graphics still have that slightly washed-out look to them-and combat is still as easy as it was in the 360 version. Also, you don't die, you just get knocked unconscious, reappearing back near where your body lay. Some of the side guests will be interesting (unless you've played the game on 360 already) but things get a little repetitive after a while.
For the most part, the control scheme of mouse and keyboard works well- I could have used a controller to review Fable 3 but I didn't, this is a PC game after all-but for the most part the controls work well, with the left mouse button used to pick up items and attack enemies. Things get a little cumbersome in the middle of battle, though having to use the mouse's scroll wheel to change stances (melee, range and magic) is a little cumbersome at times.
Ultimately though, a change of control scheme and slightly better graphics don't a masterpiece make, and Fable 3 on PC still suffers from the problems that plagued the Xbox 360 release, which can be summed up by what I said in my Xbox 360 review. "combat is not much more than a one-button affair: Want to hit that Hollow Man with your sword? Press X (or left mouse in the PC version). Want to hit him harder? hold down X (left mouse) then release". I found some of the "fetch-and-carry quests" repetitive and the game holds your hand a little too much sometimes. Also, the main quest is over before you know it.
Just like the Xbox 360 version, Fable 3 is an entertaining game that just doesn't reach the lofty heights of greatness- and the final battle against the malevolent dark force is just a disappointment.

Death Rally is Free Today

DEATH RALLY GAME FOR WINDOWS PHONE 7
HOLY CRAP was my reaction when I saw that one of Miguel's favorite iOS games just went free for a limited time. He doesn't easily like iOS games, but the sincerely loves Death Rally iTunes Guess what? This fantastic dual stick racing game is free for download right now.
death Rally is set to be a top-down racer(Kinda like Reckless Racing) but with combat content however, falls short. You'll only have five tracks and five cars to choice from. Tracks can be re-played as they are or n special head-to-head, weaponless, or upstream challenges.
The upgrade system is a bit unusual although I quite liked it. To unlock new cars to weapons you have to collect all the parts for it. These parts are scattered throughout each level as you play.
As well when you finish a level you gain a certain amount of money. Which you can spend towards restoring health, or improving speed, handling armor, or your current weapon. The game is great for when waiting in line and you just want a quick game. Usually the races don't take that long to finish and once you get the hang of everything you'll become addicted to it
Download Death Rally game right now!

The Best Free Mobile Games

It's not juast data usage: smartphones are blowing up. Customers want them, businesses want to be on them, and mobile advertisers can read the writing on the Facebook wall. And while there are plenty of ways to get things done on the run, games have provided some of the greatest sources of mobile innovation. We at PCMag have written a lot about what's out there, and what's out there for free. We love a good mobile game. Whether it's lobbing birds, dicing fruit, or blasting gems, games serve as the counterweight to the ever-growing portfolio of mobile productivity tools. All the better if they're free.
Consider this page your one-stop shop to mobile gaming. Whether you're on an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, windows phone 7 and blackberry-identifying ten keepers was a tall order in itself, though that's sure to change. If you feel underrepresented (or unrepresented), speak up and perhaps we'll expand coverage in the future.
Which brings us to an important point. Bear in mind that these selections will likely change soon, because each of these platforms is changing, and changing a great deal in the coming months. By fall, Apple will roll out iOS 5, Google will bake up 2.3 Gingerbread-if not Ice Cream Sandwich-Microsoft will crack open Windows Phone 7 Mango, and Research In Motion will unveil Blackberry 7 OS. We can't wait to get our hands on these platforms, and neither can developers.
You can expect that we'll revisit these roundups regularly in order to ensure that you have the best free games for the latest tech. While the recommendations may change, you can use this page as your mobile gateway. For the best free games on the top 5 mobile platforms, scroll down.
  1. Ten Free iPhone Games For Everyon
  2. The iTunes App Store remains the largest mobile marketplace, and a huge portion of those are games. Here, we bring you the ten best free Apple iPhone games for everyone. To make the cut, the games have to be free and preferably not a "lite" version. When a "lite" or "free" version is then available (with a paid version of the game also in the iTunes store), we've noted that fact. The other exception-and it's up for debate-is Trainyard Express, whose creator, Matt Rix, did-indeed release a for-profit version of the same game without "Express" in the title. But trainyard Express is so good and offers so many hours of gameplay that it stands on it's own as a free game. All of the games, without exception are conducive to play on the iPhone's small screen and while on the go.
  3. The 10 Best Free iPad Games
  4. The iPad game library has grown by leaps and bounds over the last year as more high-profiles titles such as NBA Jam, Infinity Blade, and Final Fantasy III bring console-quality action to the iOS platform. We've rounded up our favorite premium titles in our best 25 Best iPad Games story. But as the quality has gone up, so has the price-it's not unusual to find games that cost just shy of $20. Combine rising prices with the ability to download new titles with just the tap of an icon, and you can quickly rack up a sizeable bill. But you don't have to. The App Store still contains a good number of free iPad games that let you adventure, puzzle, sport, shoot, and sleuth at absolutely no cost.
  5. 10 Best Free Games for Windows Phone 7
  6. It's not true Windows Phone 7 (WP7) hasn't quite kept pace with the Android and iOS platforms. However, just because it's not the Apple or Google of gaming in the mobile space doesn't mean that there isn't a lot of developer attention and activity. In face, since our last roundup, Microsoft announced that the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace surpassed ten thousand apps. It makes sense then, to take a look at what free games have arrived in the past few months and to sniff out the creme de la creme.
  7. The Best Free Android Games
  8. Google's open-source Android phone platform is growing at breakneck pace. The library of free Android apps is expanding just as quickly. Last December we reported that Android had turned another milestone, topping 200,000 apps, closing fast on the 300,000 in Apple's App Store. Meanwhile, Android smartphones are even outpacing the iPhone. Sure, that momentum may slow now what the iPhone has spread its V-wings. But that doesn't change the fact that there are oodles of exciting phones and must have Android apps in the Google Universe. Forget productivity, I have corralled eleven of the best Android games for wasting time on that new Android based headset. The only rule; the games must be free.
  9. The 10 Best Free BlackBerry Games
  10. People don't tend to associate Research In Motion's BlackBerry platform with games-for good reason, henestly. Compared to the iOS. Android, or even Windows Phone 7 platform, BlackBerry gaming offerings are thin on the ground. Yet few can deny that BlackBerry remains a formidable force in the mobile sphere. Despite the rise of iOS and Android, BlackBerry still accounts for about 29% of all smart phones sold in the U.S. For the past couple years, BlackBerry App World has provided developers with a centralized marketplace, and despite a bumpy start, the Playbook has promise. Certainly then, there must be plenty of great games available for an app based platform that serves tens of millions of customers. the answer: Absolutely-if you're into puzzles, problem solving and wordplay. Free Online Game Services Offer More Wallet Relief

We've discussed the cost of video games extensively here at the blog with the emphasis being on how expensive this hobby can be when wanting to get in on the latest games. Luckily there are some quality services out there offering games free to play, or FTP via the PC.
Services like Steam, a popular web-based digital distribution site that offer both PC and Mac down-loadable versions of both independent and major studio video games, have begun to offer versions of popular titles such as Champions Online for free. Champions is a favorite here at the blog as it combines two of my top-geek genres, MMORPGs ans superheroes. Champions lets you create your hero, form super teams and battle it out with nefarious comic book style willains in a living breathing world community online. This game along with global agenda free agent, Alliance of Valiant Arms, Forsaken World, and the action-packed co-op game spiral knights have just been released on Steam as free to play titles.
Getting started is pretty simple, if you have 1GB of HD space available, a broadband connection, and Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows XP with a 1Ghz+processor, you simply have to install steam for free on your computer. Once installed, you'll have access to the full games library and can enjoy discounts, freebies and in-game bonuses, as well as a thriving community of fellow gamers to interact with.
Outside of free to play games, the service also offers discounts and cheaper prices throughout the site on titles like the recently Rick Broida reviewed Duke Nuken Forever, $59.99 on consoles, just $49.99 through Steam.
A few levels down from Steam, is another site which offers free games for the casual gamer is Addicting Games. Many of the titles on their site are akin to those you might find as apps on smartphones or on social media sites like Facebook. There are some fun free sports, puzzles, and adventure games to occupy your time so a perusal of their site is well worth it. Simply choose a game you want to play and start playing right in your browser.
EA's revamped store Origin and IGN's Direct2Drive also offer deep descounts on downloadable games, with the occasional free title made available.

Plants VS Zombies Game Available On Android And WP7 Phone

The popular PopCap mobile game, Plants Vs Zombies game is finally coming to Android and windows phone 7 devices. It has been a huge success on the iOS platform, since the time of its launch.
The mobile game would be available for Android users starting May 31st via the Amazon Appstore. It is expected to be priced around $3 and will be available free for the first 24 hours of its launch. The game has exists for a very long time and we feel it has seen a drop in its popularity due to many other games which later launch on the iOS platform.
We hardly think it is much of exiting news for Android users as similar games have been present on the platform for quite some time and obviously PopCap delayed the launch by a very long time. The date for windows phone 7 launch is not yet confirmed.

Age Of Empires Online Game Beta Review

Microsoft is trying to reboot their free Age of Empires Series with a fresh new look and under an interesting new genre. Gas Powered Games are in charge of developing the new title in the series. Age of Empires Online. This new title for the series is a Free-To-Play game which is currently in Beta, Age of Empires returns to us as a MMORTS utilizing the windows games live platform for online matchmaking and play. The concept this time around is a persistent online world, which is always working even when you're not at your computer playing.

Taking place in an alternate Mediterranean, you are given your own empire in which you will be required to grow and expand in order to obtain great power over your enemies. Fans of the series will find similar gameplay to previous titles. If you have never played an RTS game before, or are still a beginner then this might be a great chance for you to jump in and learn. Like many RTS titles, AOE is one that is easy to learn, hard to master. Not so much as other titles like StarCraft, but there is a lot of complexity deep within the game available for the more competitive players.

In Age of Empires Online Game you participate in online battles against Computer Al or Human Opponents. You must build an army to overpower your opponents in real-time combat, while building a civilization from the ground up. With a wide selection of buildings and units, and many planned civilizations there is plenty on offer for both the casual and competitive gamers. The game starts by giving you a plot of land and a capitol city. It is pretty bare right now, but it won't be long before you have a busting city thriving with business and making you lots of coin. The main objective in this game is to become abundant in resources, and pocket heavy in gold coins. To earn gold coins, you need to complete Quests. This is the PvE side of the game.

Questing
Questing in Age of Empires Online games is essentially a match against Al. You must complete certain objectives, sometimes within a time-frame in order to receive XP. Gold and other rewards. An example of these quests can be protecting a building from incoming waves of attackers, or hunting down and killing a chieftain of an enemy village. The more quests you complete, the more you level up, the bigger your capitol will become and your advantage over your future opponents grows larger.

Around your Capitol are several prominent figures of your Empire. These people of importance are easily spotted as they will have a blue or yellow exclamation mark or question mark above their head. This is common place for symbolizing a quest, and anyone who has previously played an MMO title will be familiar with this concept.
  • Yellow Symbol = Quest
  • Blue Symbol = Repeatable Quest
  • ! = New Quest Available
  • ? = Quest complete, talk to the NPC to claim your reward
Quests remain rather varied in objectives and it is obvious to see their potential as great tools for fine tuning different skills required to play competitively later on in the game. While given your generic defend location for x amount of minutes or kill this enemy style quests, there are also a lot of quests based around teaching you certain skills.

OnLive Adds Better Games Like Borderlands To Its All-You-Can-Eat PlayBack Game Library

Free windows game downloads was published Onlive to offer cloud based gaming on Octobar, today we will share about Borderlands game.

OnLive, the online games on demand service, is announcing today it has added Borderlands to it's-all-you-can-eat subscription service known as PlayPack. The PlayPack library is very similar to Netflix subscriptions. In this case, you can access a bunch of games for a flat fee of $9.99 a month.

And with the addition of Take-Two Interactive's Borderlands, the games in the library are getting better and better, said Steve Perlman, chief executive of OnLive in Palo Alto, California.  There are now more than 50 games available in the PlayPack library. That's far less than Netflix, but its growth shows that game publishers have growing confidence that OnLive is becoming a better and better game distribution channel, just like Netflix proved itself as a viable movie distribution system, Perlman said.

Borderlands (from Take-Two's debuted in October 2009 and it won numerous awards as one of the best original titles of the year. Gamers are still playing the game (it ranks pretty high on Valve's Steam online game service) because it has a rich multiplayer version. Other popular titles offered in OnLive's PlayPack are prince of Persia, Tomb Raider Legend, Lego Batman and Just Cause 2. Perlman says the games on PlayPack essentially cost 20 cents per month to play.

These games are all pretty popular as used games and were best sellers when they first came out. But publishers are releasing them for use with OnLive because-unlike the used games sold in stores such as GameStop- the game publishers can make money from OnLive's PlayPack library. More high-profile games will arrive on PlayPack in coming weeks, Perlman said.

Another new feature is debuting on OnLive today, In the past, you had to enter your credit card number to demo free versions of the games in PlayPack. Now you don't have to do that. Players who don't want to pay a subscription fee for a library of older games can also pay a la carte, either renting or buying games one by one.

And players can also buy brand new games on the very day they come out in stores. Onlive is starting to promote some deals very aggressively. For instance, you can buy Duke Nukem Forever at regular price on OnLive when it comes on June 13. OnLive will give away either a free game or a free MicroConsole ($99 value) with the purchase of the Duke Nukem forever game. That's a good deal.

Perlman said OnLive can afford to do that because it is subsidizing the costs as part of a promotion. The MicroConsole is a strategic device that OnLive wants to get into a bunch of living rooms (it connects a TV to OnLive so users can play Onlive games on a big screen TV). So Perlman said OnLive will offer temporary promotions to help the MicroConsole take off.

OnLive first launched its PlayPack in February. The company doesn't disclose results, but Perlman said the library is profitable and it will continue to grow bigger over time in terms of numbers of titles.

Perlman said that PlayPack strategy is aimed at vastly broadening the company's potential market of game customers. With a flat rate subscription. OnLive will pursue the same path that Netflix has successfully followed, attracting users who don't necessarily want to dish out a lot of money for one title but don't mind paying a monthly fee to sample a bunch of game. For premium new games, OnLive offers a la carte pricing, much like Apple's iTunes store does.

Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley Coming This Week

The first update to Rovio's Hollywood Angry Birds spin-off, Rio, will be landing this week. Beach Volley, which the name should make fairl obvious, takes place in the Sandy (and sunny) coast of Brazil and features brand new levels festooned with volleyballs, beach umbrellas and monkeys-lots and lots of monkeys.
Levels also contain varibus new structures such as helicopters and ships to blow up, and plenty of new hard-to-reach items that unlock bonus levels. It's not confirmed yet exactly how many levels in total will be included but we can expect no less than 15 to wreak havoc in.
Angry Birds Rio, in case you missed the memo, is the result of a collaboration between Rovio and 20th Century Fox which coincided with the release pf the Fox's animated flick Rio last month. While most movie tie-ins tend to be a little on the cheap side. Rovio did a pretty decent job at merging the two universes together and giving players a break from a perpetual slaughter of pigs.
Rovio's title has already turbed into a cultural phenomenon with celebrity endorsements and various toys and plushest already on the market. There's also a rumour of a TV show in the works, plus a Hollywood animation to give the birds their own spotlight on the silver screen.

Onlive Unveils New Features For Online Game Players

OnLive is a server-based game service. It computes a game in an internet-connected data center and then sends compressed video of the action at a high speed to the user's machine, where it is displayed on the screen. Since the response time is fast, the user doesn't know that the game is not being processed on his or her local computer. With OnLive, users can log into their games from any type of computer, anyway, anywhere and get access to dozens of games they can try out or purchase or rent, Netflix style.

From the start, OnLive has offered Brag Clip recording, where you can share a snippet of your game session with friends as a video of the action. Now the automatic recording makes that feature more convenient, particularly when reach a key moment of the game, said Joe Bentley, vice president of engineering at Palo Alto, Calif-based Onlive.

When users log into OnLive, they will also find an upgrade to the games list, with personal stats tracked for each game on the list, such as total play time, last time played, and achievements earned.
